Riverston Tea Rooms owners Jim and Maria Ellrott have always had a keen interest in the craftsmanship, artistry and quality mostly found in antique estate homewares and quality costume jewellery.
The House of Treasures was established in 2006 in Rockhampton’s city centre. The business built a solid reputation for recycling antiques from estates, estate jewellery, silverware and other collectibles – most notably, fine china.
When the family opened Riverston Tea Rooms, the spacious, heritage-listed site made it the perfect new home for The House of Treasures. Our full catalogue is also available online.
While your meal or coffee is being carefully prepared, take a moment to wander around the light, bright china display cabinets. Appreciate the ‘mouthwatering’ jewellery on offer in our side room – you might find a unique gift or that missing piece you’ve been looking for.
Please browse to your heart’s content and visit us online – and if you’re after something specific that you don’t see here, please ask us.
